Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the purchase of digital content (webinars, recordings, e-books and other content) on the MeguMethod website. How we process your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Effective from 29 October 2026. This is an English translation of the Czech original. In the event of any discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.
Who we are
1. Definitions
We are MeguMethod s.r.o., the operator of the website and the seller of digital content.
You are a visitor to the website who buys digital content from us.
Price means the amount for the digital content stated on the website and in the order confirmation.
Digital content means anything you can order on the website: webinars, recordings, e-books and the like.
Order means your irrevocable proposal to conclude a contract.
Contract means the purchase contract for the supply of digital content, which is concluded when we send you the order confirmation.
Website means the website at www.megumethod.com.
2. General provisions
You place your order through the web interface of our website.
The details in your order must be true and complete. We rely on them when performing the contract.
3. Conclusion of the contract
The contract is concluded in Czech, at a distance and without the simultaneous physical presence of the parties. You bear the cost of your internet connection; apart from the Price, we charge you nothing else.
The order contains the ordered content, the Price and your identification details. You can edit it until you submit it.
Before submitting the order, you confirm by ticking a box that you have read these terms and conditions. The order cannot be submitted without this.
We will confirm your order by e-mail without undue delay. The confirmation contains a summary of the order, payment details, these terms and conditions and, where applicable, your express consent to the start of performance before the withdrawal period expires. The contract is concluded when the confirmation is sent.
The terms and conditions in effect on the date of the order form part of the contract. Individually agreed arrangements take precedence over these terms and conditions.
If we cannot supply the content for objective reasons, we will offer you a change to the contract or withdraw from it. If you do not respond to the proposed change within 5 days, you are deemed to have accepted it. If you do not agree, you may withdraw from the contract.
In the event of an obvious error in the Price (for example a missing or extra digit), we are not obliged to supply the content at that Price, even after the order has been confirmed. We will contact you with a corrected offer; if you do not accept it within 3 days, we may withdraw from the contract.
4. Price and payment terms
The Price is stated on the website, in the order confirmation and in the contract. It is final and includes VAT and all statutory fees.
You pay the full Price after the contract is concluded and before the content is made available, no later than 7 working days after the contract is concluded.
Payment can be made by bank transfer. Please provide all payment details, in particular the variable symbol.
We will issue an electronic invoice after receiving the payment and send it to you by e-mail.
If you do not pay the Price, we may withdraw from the contract.
5. Access to digital content
We make a webinar or video recording available via a link sent to the e-mail address given in the order. Text content is delivered as a PDF attachment or for download. If a different method is stated for a product, that method applies.
If an access date is stated, we will make the content available on that day, but not before we receive the payment. Otherwise within 3 working days of receiving the payment.
If an access period is stated, it applies. Otherwise access is unlimited in time and the supply is a one-off performance.
You receive the version valid on the date the contract is concluded. We do not update the content on an ongoing basis, but we will fix anything necessary to keep it free of defects.
To use the content, you need standard software for .pdf, .docx, .mp4 and similar formats, audio and video playback, a sufficiently fast internet connection and a working e-mail account.
6. Intellectual property rights
Digital content may be protected by the copyright of our company or of our licensing partners.
You obtain a non-exclusive licence to the extent necessary to use the content. You may not modify the content, assign the licence or grant a sublicence.
All other intellectual property rights remain with us and our licensing partners.
7. Rights arising from defective performance
We are responsible for ensuring that the content has the agreed or usual characteristics, is fit for purpose, matches its description, is complete, complies with the law and is free of third-party rights.
Rights arising from defective performance are governed by the Czech Civil Code (Section 2389i et seq.) and the Consumer Protection Act.
If you are a consumer, for a one-off supply you can claim a defect that appears within 2 years of the content being made available. A defect that appears within 1 year is deemed to have existed when the content was made available.
If you are a business, report the defect without undue delay, no later than 3 days after the content is made available.
We are not liable for defects caused by improper use, a missed update or an unsuitable digital environment on your side. Please cooperate with us reasonably in determining the cause of a defect.
You can submit a complaint in writing by e-mail, letter or data box, or by phone. You can use the model form in Appendix 1.
Depending on the nature of the defect, you can ask for the defect to be remedied, for a discount on the Price, or withdraw from the contract.
We will confirm receipt of the complaint by e-mail within 3 days. We will handle the complaint without undue delay, no later than 30 days after receipt, unless we agree on a longer period. We will send you the result by e-mail. If we do not handle the complaint in time, you may withdraw from the contract.
If the complaint is justified, we will reimburse the reasonable costs you incurred, provided you document them.
8. Withdrawal from the contract
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of the content being made available, in a verifiable way by e-mail, letter or data box. You can use the form in Appendix 2. The deadline is met if you send the withdrawal before it expires.
If, when ordering, you expressly agreed to the start of performance before the withdrawal period expires, you do not have the right to withdraw (Section 1837(l) of the Civil Code).
We will refund your money within 14 days of the withdrawal taking effect, to the account you paid from or to an account you specify.
We may withdraw from the contract before the content is made available for objective reasons, if you provided false information, or if you use the content in breach of these terms and conditions or the law. In that case we may also block access.
We may withdraw from a contract with a business at any time, even without giving a reason. We will refund any payments received within 14 days.
9. Consumer dispute resolution
We are not bound by any code of conduct within the meaning of Section 1820(1)(n) of the Civil Code.
We handle complaints at info@megumethod.com and send the outcome by e-mail.
Out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is provided by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz).
The contact point for disputes arising from online contracts under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 is the European Consumer Centre Czech Republic (www.evropskyspotrebitel.cz).
10. Final provisions
Relationships with an international element are governed by Czech law. This does not affect the rights of consumers under the law of the country of their residence.
We communicate electronically, using the e-mail address stated in the contract or the one you contacted us from.
The contract may only be amended by written agreement. We may change these terms and conditions; a change applies only to contracts concluded after it takes effect.
We are not liable for damage caused by an extraordinary, unforeseeable circumstance beyond our control. If it lasts longer than 10 days, either party may withdraw from the contract.
We archive the contract electronically; it is not accessible to you. You will receive these terms and conditions and the order confirmation by e-mail, and we recommend that you save them.
The appendices to these terms and conditions are a complaint form (Appendix 1) and a contract withdrawal form (Appendix 2).
These terms and conditions take effect on 29 October 2026.
